Romexis is built around three components: a client, a server and a database. This architecture makes the software extremely scalable, and it can flexibly adapt to the needs of clinics of any size, such as the following examples.
Adapts to various needsSingle Workstation
In the simplest single workstation installation, all 3 components are deployed on one computer in one install process.

Small office with multiple workstations
For small offices, one client workstation can take the role of a server by having the server and database installed on it. No special hardware or software is required.
Large office with multiple workstations and a dedicated server
For large offices, the server and database can be installed on a dedicated server computer – allowing a more robust setup.
Enterprise
For large sites, the server and database can be installed separately on a customer’s server and database farms. Standard IT processes in use can be relied on for monitoring, backups and continuity. The IT department will have a central role in specifying the hardware and assisting in deployment of the software. NOTE: A commercial version of MS SQL Server is required.
